Job Description
Rehab-Physical Therapist (Pelvic Health/Floor Specialist) - Full Time
Individuals granted Graduate of Physical Therapy status by the State of Nevada, must pass the board exam to remain employed as a physical therapist.
Experience preferred.
Physical therapist experienced in the treatment of pelvic floor conditions. Experience of 1 or more years is preferred.

Patient Exercise ProgramsDirects and assists patients in all forms of exercising, functional training, manual therapy, gait and other forms of therapy.
Patient ProgramsDemonstrates ability to monitor and revise patient rehabilitation programs as needed.
Develops, communicates and provides home exercise instructions to patient, caregiver and family members in a professional manner.
Performs treatment programs in accordance with pre-established protocols and procedures provided by the referring physicians.
Educational ProgramsConducts and participates in educational programs for other health care workers ln the organization.

!POSITION SUMMARY:
Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Required:
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.License Required:
Licensed and registered as a physical therapist with the State of Nevada and maintaining license renewal requirements.Individuals granted Graduate of Physical Therapy status by the State of Nevada, must pass the board exam to remain employed as a physical therapist.
Certificate Required:
Maintains current American Heart Association BLS certification and continuing education requirements per the State of Nevada.Minimum Work Experience:
Ability to communicate with employees, physicians, patients and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner.Experience preferred.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Treatment PlansEvaluates and develops treatment plan for each new patient in a timely manner, within twenty-four hours. Complies with appropriate paperwork requested by Medicare, Medicaid, Worker's Comp and Private Insurance for outpatients.Able to use
EMR/EPIC
for acute, swing bed and outpatient care documentation.Patient Exercise ProgramsDirects and assists patients in all forms of exercising, functional training, manual therapy, gait and other forms of therapy.
