Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic issues, developing individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs and functional limitations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Implement therapeutic interventions and modalities, continually monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize patient progress. Provide important consultations to other healthcare providers regarding patient care and progress, supporting a seamless continuum of care. Maintain meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient interactions in accordance with all regulatory standards and professional practices. Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and other support staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Engage in leadership activities such as community outreach, program development, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay abreast of industry trends. Participate in discharge planning, collaborating with patients and their families to ensure a smooth transition post-treatment. Patient Population / Client Focus The clinic serves a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to those with chronic musculoskeletal disorders. As a Physical Therapist, you will assess and address the specific needs of patients across various age groups and cultures, fostering an inclusive healthcare environment. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems. A demonstrated ability to interact respectfully with patients and colleagues, regardless of age or cultural background. Preferred Experience Experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and methodologies in physical therapy. Prior experience in community outreach or patient education initiatives is a plus. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, offering an annual salary between USD 100,000 and 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your financial, health, and work-life balance goals.
