Work Environment The Physical Therapist will work within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Herndon. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients including reviewing relevant medical history, performing a variety of physical assessments, and establishing clear functional outcomes while thoroughly documenting results. Communicate evaluation findings to patients and their families, actively involving them in the development of personalized treatment plans guided by mutual goals. Implement evidence-based treatment protocols efficiently and adaptively based on the individual needs and responses of patients, incorporating changes as necessary based on continuous assessment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address complex patient needs and document any changes in patient condition that may necessitate adjustments in the plan of care. Oversee discharge planning, ensuring that patients have a smooth transition from therapy and that follow-up care is established appropriately. Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner. Manage time effectively to meet productivity standards and maintain an organized schedule. Remain punctual for meetings and actively participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives. Contribute to departmental objectives by engaging in continuous improvement initiatives, including compliance with regulatory standards and achieving performance indicators. Take the initiative for personal and professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities and serving as a mentor to students and less experienced staff. Foster a positive patient experience by being adaptable and responsive to individual patient needs, working proactively to remove barriers to accessing therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus As a member of our clinical team, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions that require rehabilitation services. Your role will directly impact patient outcomes through personalized care plans tailored to unique recovery trajectories. You will facilitate improved mobility, pain management, and overall wellness in a supportive environment. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. A valid physical therapy license in the State of Virginia. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient engagement and education. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we are open to considering recent graduates who demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and professional development. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 100,000
