Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Physio Recovery Center in Manassas, Virginia. This full-time position is ideal for a skilled professional passionate about helping patients regain their mobility and improve their overall quality of life. About the Organization Physio Recovery Center is a leading orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant community of Manassas, VA. Our state-of-the-art, 5,000 square-foot facility is designed specifically for sports medicine and rehabilitation, equipped with the latest technology and tools to support our patients' recovery. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients by employing compassionate and skilled professionals who share our vision of enriching lives through improved physical performance. We primarily accept private medical insurance, ensuring our clients receive personalized and uninterrupted care. Work Environment Our facility fosters a collaborative work environment that emphasizes teamwork and continuous professional development. As part of a closely-knit team consisting of two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will engage in open communication and share insights to optimize patient care. Your work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, physical needs, and functional limitations. Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans using a variety of techniques and modalities tailored to each patient's unique situation. Provide hands-on therapy, ensuring patients receive effective manual therapy and exercise interventions that enhance mobility and reduce pain. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on evolving patient needs and clinical evidence. Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-management techniques, and lifestyle modifications to facilitate ongoing recovery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, in providing well-rounded care. Document all patient care services meticulously in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, WebPT, to ensure compliance and quality control. Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive and positive healing environment. Develop fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to maintain their health and prevent future injuries. Engage in continuous education and professional development to remain current with industry best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clientele primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will interact with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and seniors, all seeking competent care to restore their function and achieve a pain-free lifestyle. Your role will be instrumental in reducing the need for medications and avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions. Qualifications A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution. A valid Physical Therapist license for Virginia, free from any board actions or disciplinary records. Proficient manual therapy skills and comprehensive knowledge in therapeutic exercise prescription. Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is required. Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to facilitate documentation and patient care. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a high-volume outpatient orthopedic practice. Specialized certifications in areas such as sports therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, or manual therapy. Experience developing and leading wellness programs focused on prevention and fitness. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
