Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience or interest in working within school environments Understanding of pediatric therapy or willingness to learn Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, educators, and families Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable approach to care Strong time management and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 30-minute physical therapy sessions to students two times per month, addressing individualized needs Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that support each students physical development and academic participation Collaborate with classroom staff, special education teams, parents/guardians, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach Accurately document treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school and licensure standards Contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings as needed by providing insight and recommendations Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports students confidence and independence
