Prepare treatment areas and ensure all medical equipment is sanitized, organized, and ready for use. Support patients with mobility exercises, transfers, and gait training under supervision. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment activities in compliance with healthcare regulations. Operate medical equipment such as ultrasound units, electrical stimulation devices, and orthotics interventions in occupational therapy. Monitor patient safety during therapy sessions and report any concerns or adverse reactions promptly. Help manage inventory of supplies including orthotics materials, therapy tools, and medical supplies needed for daily operations. Skills Practicing in a physical therapy role with hands-on experience supporting patient care. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation therapies. Familiarity with hand therapy occupational practices and orthotics interventions in occupational therapy. Experience operating medical equipment used in physical therapy treatments. Background in orthopedics, geriatrics, inpatient care, outpatient clinics, or post-acute settings. Knowledge of hospital medicine, sub-acute care environments, dance therapy techniques, and geriatrics is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and educate patients about their therapies.
