Job Description

Seeking a bilingual Spanish speaking physical therapy aide for multidisciplinary rehab office. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients in an outpatient clinic. Your contributions will be vital in helping patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life. Duties As a Physical Therapy Aide, your responsibilities will include: Assisting physical therapists with patient treatment sessions and exercises. Preparing treatment areas and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use. Educating patients on proper techniques for exercises and rehabilitation activities. Maintaining a clean and organized environment to promote patient safety and comfort. Documenting patient progress and reporting any changes to the supervising therapist. Supporting the administrative team with scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Engaging with patients in a friendly manner to enhance their experience during therapy sessions. Experience Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to physical therapy. Experience in patient service, particularly in outpatient or hospital settings. Understanding of geriatrics and acute care practices is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to assist patients effectively while demonstrating empathy and patience. Strong communication skills to interact positively with both patients and healthcare professionals.
