Job Type:
Part-time, 5 days/week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM (25 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Billing:
Greet, check in/out, and guide patients through the clinic Schedule and confirm appointments Answer phone calls and manage messages Collect copays and deductibles at time of service Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Handle all patient-related paperwork and documentation Follow up by phone with insurance companies on denied claims
Patient Assistance:
Remove hot packs / heat therapy once treatment time is complete Between patients, you'll follow a structured downtime task list (next-day confirmations, insurance re-checks, recall calls) Other duties as assigned by the clinic owner.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a medical receptionist; insurance verification and billing/claims experience strongly preferred Comfortable calling insurance companies to follow up on denied claims Strong communication and time-management skills Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
