Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Aide will play a crucial role in assisting with patient care, contributing to the rehabilitation process, and fostering a positive and supportive environment for individuals working to improve their mobility and functional abilities.
Responsibilities:
Handle smooth operations and communications with patient regarding insurance Communicate at a high level with team ensuring quality teamwork, trust, and efficiency Prepare treatment areas, ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are readily available and in good working order. Assist Physical Therapists during patient treatment by providing support with therapeutic exercises, modalities (e.g., heat, ice, electrical stimulation), and functional activities as directed. Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, adhering to safety protocols and infection control procedures. Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and other functional tasks under the guidance of the Physical Therapist. Document patient-related activities and observations as instructed by the Physical Therapist. Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, and other team members. Perform clerical tasks such as managing patient records as needed. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a healthcare or physical therapy setting is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Demonstrated passion for helping others and an interest in the field of physical therapy. Basic computer skills.To Apply:
