Job Description
Metro Sports Physical Therapy is an outpatient orthopedic group currently seeking outstanding individuals to join our growing team. We are looking for PT aides to assist our therapists in delivering excellent care to our patients at our 28th Street and Waterside Plaza locations. This position is the perfect fit for individuals who want to gain clinical knowledge in movement and rehabilitation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting physical therapist with all aspects of patient care, monitoring and observing patient progress through treatment.
- Maintaining a clean environment within the treatment and exercise areas, including tables, gym equipment and any other high-touch surfaces.
- Assisting patients with therapist-guided exercises, ensuring proper form and safety.
- Directing patient flow through treatment area to reduce crowding and wait times.
- Creating a caring and compassionate environment through excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Assisting administrative staff whenever necessary.
Required Criteria:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Interest/experience in body mechanics
