Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Technician, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help transform patient recovery journeys. In this vital role, you will support licensed physical therapists by preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient exercises, and managing medical equipment. Your proactive approach will contribute to a positive healing environment across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care settings. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient setup, positioning, and instruction during therapy sessions to ensure safety and comfort. Prepare treatment areas by organizing equipment and supplies needed for therapy sessions. Operate and maintain medical equipment such as ultrasound devices, electrical stimulation units, and orthotic interventions in occupational therapy. Monitor patient responses during therapy, reporting any concerns or adverse reactions to the supervising therapist promptly. Support hand therapy occupational practices by assisting with splinting, orthotics adjustments, and therapeutic exercises. Maintain accurate documentation of patient activities, progress notes, and treatment logs in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure cleanliness and proper sterilization of all therapy tools and equipment to uphold safety standards. Qualifications Positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference in patients' lives. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Quick learner with a willingness to take initiative and adapt to new responsibilities. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed, such as assisting patients. Comfortable working in and around the therapy pool and able to swim. Professional demeanor and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Previous healthcare experience is a plus, but not required . We are happy to train the right candidate.
