Overview:
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy/Acupuncture Tech, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly support patient recovery and well-being. In this vital role, you will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering exceptional rehabilitative care across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute settings. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinical operations, foster positive patient experiences, and contribute to the overall success of our therapy programs. Responsibilities Prepare treatment areas and assist with set-up of therapy equipment for patient sessions Support physical therapists by monitoring patient progress and documenting responses during therapy sessions Assist with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining treatment plans Ensure proper handling of medical terminology and physiology concepts to facilitate effective communication among team members Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces, equipment, and supplies in accordance with hospital standards Provide compassionate patient service by addressing questions, offering encouragement, and ensuring comfort during treatments Support inpatient and outpatient care activities across orthopedic, geriatrics, acute care, and sub-acute settings Qualifications Prior hospital or clinic experience working with patients in inpatient or outpatient environments Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices Experience with post-acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, or hospital medicine is highly desirable Demonstrated commitment to patient service and patient care excellence Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team in fast-paced settings Knowledge of intake procedures and familiarity with acute care protocols is a plus Sub-acute care experience or outpatient clinic background will be considered advantageous Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through dedicated support and compassionate care.
