Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). The ideal candidate will help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services according to the established Plan of Care Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, endurance, and balance Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques Maintain compliance with all state, federal, Medicare, and agency regulations
Qualifications:
Active Florida license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Minimum of 1 year of home health experience preferred Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and documentation standards Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
