This position is ideal for a PTA looking for a consistent part-time schedule with the opportunity for additional hours as patient volume increases , or flexible PRN work.
Current schedule:
Tuesday:
8:00 AM-1:00 PM, with the opportunity for additional hours as the schedule growsThursday:
8:00 AM-6:00 PM Approximately 15+ hours per week , with potential for additional hours Clinical Focus Orthopedic and sports injuries Postoperative rehabilitation Spine conditions General musculoskeletal care Therapeutic exercise and manual therapy within the established plan of care Our clinic provides services including dry needling, spinal manipulation, blood-flow restriction exercise, and kinesiology taping. These services are performed by appropriately qualified clinicians and are not necessarily part of the PTA's independent responsibilities. Responsibilities Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist Treat outpatient orthopedic patients using therapeutic exercise, manual techniques as permitted, gait training, and appropriate modalities Progress patients within the established plan of care and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising PT Complete accurate documentation in the EMR on the same day Assist with room turnover, equipment, and maintaining an efficient clinic flow Communicate professionally with patients, the PT, and front desk staff Requirements Graduate of an accredited PTA program Current Florida PTA license, or license obtained before start date Availability to work Tuesdays and Thursdays Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients during treatment Professional communication skills Reliable attendance and timely documentation Preferred Qualifications Outpatient orthopedic experience Sports, postoperative, or spine experience Experience with an EMR Bilingual English/Spanish is a plusCompensation Part-time:
$26-$33/hour , based on experience and qualifications PRN/Per diem: $28-$35/hour , based on experience and qualifications Why Join Us?
