Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform therapeutic interventions. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain procedures, answer questions, and promote adherence to care plans. Oversee physical therapy technicians in coordinating patient care and clinic flow. Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently while maintaining compliance with medical documentation requirements. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience in outpatient setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, sports, and or pelvic health. Skilled in manual therapy techniques and exercise knowledge. Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client interactions across diverse populations. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate ability to work independently.
