As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our rehabilitation goals. About the
Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will: Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients Conduct patient assessments, perform treatments, and provide education and training to patients and their families Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists with patient assessments, set-ups, and treatments Conduct wound care, tracheotomy care, and other specialized treatments as needed Provide patient education and training on exercises, activities of daily living, and other skills Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, and dispose of waste and biohazardous materials properly
Requirements:
Associate's degree or certificate in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Illinois Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within the first 3 months of employment If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
