In this engaging, full-time position, youll work 37.5 hours weekly within a collaborative educational setting. Your expertise will provide assessment, intervention, and innovative therapeutic support to students with varying needs. As a valued member of the schools special services team, your days will be filled with meaningful interactions, adaptive planning, and close partnership with educators and families.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois Previous experience or strong interest in school-based PT or PTA settings (K-12 focus preferred) Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintaining thorough documentation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, parents, and school teams Adaptability and creativity in modifying interventions to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored physical therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs Assess and document students physical, functional, and mobility levels in the school environment Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress Contribute to IEP meetings and the multidisciplinary team, offering input on student strengths, goals, and recommendations Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required reports This contract offers you a chance to make a true difference in the lives of children and youth through the entire school year.
