Jacob Elite Physical Therapy in Metamora & Lapeer are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed physical therapist to support patient rehabilitation and recovery. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as prescribed. Monitor and document patient progress, noting changes and reporting to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies to enhance rehabilitation. Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring a clean and organized environment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
