Responsibilities Implement comprehensive physical therapy treatments tailored to neurological patient needs, including manual therapy and trigger point therapy techniques. Assist in conducting clinical assessments and document findings accurately in accordance with clinical documentation standards. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to develop and modify care plans. Maintain meticulous medical documentation and ensure compliance with electronic health records (EHR) management protocols. Support discharge planning by preparing detailed progress notes and communicating patient status to the care team. Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring clear caregiver and client communication throughout treatment processes. Experience Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Demonstrated expertise in neurology-related physiotherapy treatments, including orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care scenarios. Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards. Hands-on experience with physical therapy treatment implementation such as manual therapy, physiotherapy techniques, and trigger point therapy. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to neurological conditions to support effective client care. Skilled in using medical equipment operation and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently. Strong communication skills for engaging with patients of all ages—pediatrics to geriatrics—and collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
