Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team in Wellington, OH. The PTA will provide physical therapy treatments and related services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with therapists, clinical staff, and patients to support rehabilitation goals while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, ambulation, positioning, reconditioning, and activities of daily living. Apply therapeutic modalities and utilize specialized equipment as directed. Assist patients with braces, prosthetics, bandages, and other assistive devices. Monitor patient progress and report any changes, concerns, or responses to treatment to the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist with patient evaluations, testing, and complex treatment procedures as needed. Follow all safety, infection control, and medical precautions. Maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supplies. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Support basic clerical and administrative duties as needed. Demonstrate professionalism and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Current and valid PTA license in the state of practice. Current CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and patient care skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Why Join Us?
