In this vital role, you will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering comprehensive rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations across inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing, home health, and pediatric settings. Your expertise will help improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall well-being through tailored treatment plans. Duties Implement prescribed physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other physiotherapy modalities Assist in conducting clinical assessments and documenting patient progress accurately according to clinical documentation standards Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, physicians, and caregivers, to develop and modify care plans Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) management and ensure compliance with medical documentation requirements Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain treatment procedures, progress, and discharge instructions Support discharge planning by providing relevant patient information and recommendations for ongoing care or therapy at home or in outpatient settings Experience Prior experience working in inpatient settings such as hospitals or skilled nursing facilities is highly preferred Experience with outpatient clinics, geriatrics, pediatrics, or home health environments is advantageous Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, or acute care scenarios enhances your effectiveness in this role Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical assessment documentation is essential Demonstrated ability to operate medical equipment used in physical therapy treatments and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems Skilled nursing facility experience or outpatient clinic background is desirable for a well-rounded skill set Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient care through innovative therapies and compassionate service.
