Full Job Description Role Overview:

Implements physical therapy treatment plans under supervision, serving patients across all ages.

Responsibilities include:

Self-assessing and sharing knowledge through ongoing professional development. Effective communication with patients, healthcare team members, and families. Logical questioning, problem identification, data analysis, and solution implementation. Supporting student training by completing assessments and promoting education. Fostering collaborative relationships, actively listening, and embracing change. Assisting with data collection, conducting exercise and treatment programs, and monitoring patient progress. Preparing documentation, aiding in discharge planning, and promoting evidence-based practices. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program. Preferred experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or Assistant. Current licensure as a PTA with active and good standing, plus BLS certification. Must obtain BLS within 90 days if not already certified.
