Position Summary As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide skilled, hands-on therapy services . You will help residents improve mobility, increase independence, and enhance overall quality of life through individualized care plans. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to improve function, mobility, and relieve pain Deliver skilled therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist Assist in implementing and modifying treatment plans based on resident progress Monitor and document patients' strength, mobility, and response to therapy Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards Communicate updates and observations to the supervising PT Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in care planning meetings Qualifications Active Texas Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license In good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric rehabilitation preferred Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Why Join Us?
