CenTex Injury & Workers Comp is an outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in industrial physical therapy and workers' compensation care. Our team is passionate about helping injured workers recover from job-related injuries and return to work safely and confidently. We specialize in providing top-tier and specialized care to all our patients to ensure they receive the highest quality of treatment. We're currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team and help patients restore their function and independence. This job is Monday through Thursday, 8:00-5:30 and Friday 8:00-12:00. No nights, no weekends, and no holidays. $2,000 sign on bonus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality care Implement individualized treatment plans focusing on functional outcomes Lead patients through job-specific exercise and rehabilitation programs Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures Collaborate with the physical therapy team to ensure effective patient care Educate patients on injury prevention, body mechanics, and proper ergonomics Accurately document treatments and patient progress in EMR Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment

Requirements:

Associate degree from an accredited PTA program Active PTA license (or license eligibility) in the state of Texas CPR/BLS certification Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices Training and experience in manual therapy
