A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and take detailed medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain illnesses and injuries
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Provide counseling on preventive healthcare and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Perform minor procedures such as joint injections and trigger point injections, will also train if needed

- Strong research skills to stay updated on medical advancements and treatment options
- Ability to triage patients effectively based on the severity of their condition
- Excellent physical examination skills
- Great bedside manner and ability to work in team environment
