THE OPPORTUNITY
Gameday Men's Health Murrieta is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for one consistent clinical day each week, with opportunities for additional float coverage. This role is intentionally designed for a clinician who wants a recurring weekday in a high-engagement specialty environment. It may be an excellent complement to an existing clinical position for someone who is genuinely interested in hormone optimization, sexual health, medical weight management, metabolic health and performance-focused medicine. You will have medical oversight, established clinical resources, training and an experienced support team. You will also have meaningful autonomy. When the consultation begins, you own the clinical conversation, recommendation and patient's understanding. The Lead Clinician / Clinic Director designation reflects clinical ownership and leadership during your scheduled clinic days. It is not a full-time administrative or operations-only position. We are not looking for someone who simply wants an occasional shift or someone who believes every symptomatic man needs testosterone. We are looking for a thoughtful, confident clinician who wants to practice medicine, connect with men who may not open up easily and help shape an exceptional cash-pay patient experience.
WHO WE ARE
Gameday Men's Health Murrieta is an independently family-owned and operated, cash-pay men's health clinic.
Our services include:
Testosterone replacement and hormone optimization Medical weight management Sexual health Metabolic health Recovery and performance medicine Peptide therapy when clinically appropriate and legally available Our patients are adult men across a wide age range, with most between 35 and 55. They include firefighters, veterans, business owners, first responders and working men who may have waited years before asking for help. Many have been told their laboratory results are "within range" while their energy, body composition, sleep, libido, focus or quality of life continues to decline. Sometimes the appropriate plan includes treatment. Sometimes it requires additional testing, lifestyle changes, referral or an honest conversation that TRT or another requested therapy is not appropriate. Clinical integrity comes first.
WHY THIS PRACTICE IS DIFFERENT
This is not insurance-driven medicine. There are no prior authorizations or insurance contracts dictating which treatment options may be discussed. Patients have intentionally chosen to seek care, and you have meaningful time to understand their symptoms and make a thoughtful recommendation. That autonomy comes with accountability. You are responsible for the quality and efficiency of the consultation, the clarity of the recommendation, timely documentation, clinical follow-through and the experience the team creates together. This is not high-pressure sales. It does require confidently explaining your recommendation, discussing cost without discomfort, addressing the patient's real concern and helping an appropriate patient make an informed decision. A patient should not leave because the clinician was vague, rushed, uncomfortable or unable to explain what happens next.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Conduct comprehensive consultations, examinations and follow-up visits. Obtain meaningful histories and interpret laboratory testing as a connected clinical story-not merely flagged numbers. Build individualized plans using symptoms, laboratory findings, history, risk factors, goals and clinical judgment. Prescribe and monitor appropriate therapies within your license, training, clinic protocols and medical oversight. Recognize contraindications and conditions requiring additional evaluation or referral. Explain recommendations, expectations and costs in language patients understand and remember. Make clear recommendations while remaining willing to say "no" when treatment is inappropriate. Complete accurate documentation on time and maintain an efficient clinical flow. Lead and support the MA and front-office team and improve systems when you identify a better approach.
WHO FITS THIS ENVIRONMENT
The strongest candidate will: Make independent, defensible decisions without constant reassurance. Connect naturally with men who may be guarded, direct, embarrassed or humorous about personal symptoms. Adapt to each patient while remaining warm, confident and professional. Explain complex physiology plainly and make a clear recommendation. Be comfortable discussing sexual health, lifestyle, adherence, treatment cost and commitment. Balance comprehensive care with pace and awareness of the rest of the clinic. Lead respectfully, accept feedback, take ownership and commit reliably to the recurring schedule. This role will not fit someone seeking only occasional shift coverage, a rigid protocol that replaces judgment, a quiet place to coast, or a position isolated from the MA and front-office teams.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active and unrestricted California Nurse PA License Current national board certification and prescribing/furnishing authority appropriate to the role Ability to obtain or maintain all credentials required for the position Strong patient-care, documentation, communication and time-management skills Ability to provide on-site care in Murrieta on a consistent weekday schedule Two or more years of direct patient-care experience as an NP is strongly preferred. Experience in men's health, hormone management, endocrinology, urology, obesity medicine, functional or integrative medicine, primary care, emergency medicine, sexual health or performance-focused care is highly valued. Direct men's health experience is preferred, but we will consider an exceptional clinician with the right judgment, confidence, communication ability and commitment to learning. Clinical oversight and medical direction are provided by our Medical Director. All treatment decisions must meet applicable standards of care, clinic protocols and regulatory requirements.
WHY STRONG CLINICIANS CHOOSE THIS ENVIRONMENT
Meaningful time with patients and professional autonomy with clinical support No insurance billing or prior-authorization battles A consistent weekday schedule with no nights or weekends Competitive hourly compensation plus a quarterly, team-based Business Performance Bonus Continuing education and professional development support An opportunity to influence a growing practice with present, invested family ownership
