In-Home Health Assessments Location:
Multiple Locations Across Maine (Travel Required)
Compensation:
$80

Job Opportunity:
Are you a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant looking for flexible opportunities? We are seeking skilled PAs to partner with in performing in-home health assessments across various locations in Maine. This per diem role offers independence, competitive pay per assessment, and mileage reimbursement for travel. In this role, you will: Perform thorough health assessments in patients' homes, including reviewing medical histories, conducting physical exams, and screening for chronic conditions. Educate patients on medication management, disease prevention, and overall health maintenance. Document relevant diagnoses and communicate findings to ensure effective care management. Collaborate with primary care providers to address any gaps in patient care. Enjoy a flexible schedule—no on-call, weekends, or holiday shifts required.
Position Requirements:
Availability to complete at least 30 in-home assessments per month. Active Physician Assistant license in Maine. Board Certification from NCCPA in Family, Adult-Gerontology, or related specialties. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably with geriatric patients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to delivering patient-centered care. Reliable transportation for local travel. Comfort with working in varied home environments.
