Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) Licensure • Current licensureas a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required). Henry Ford Health West Bloomfieldis seeking a full-timeNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join ourGeneral Surgery team. This day shift position provides comprehensive inpatient surgical care, including inpatient coverage for surgical services, inpatient and ER consultations, and care coordination for surgical patients. The APP will work closely with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and efficient patient outcomes, with opportunities to serve as an OR first assist based on qualifications. As part of a Level 3 Trauma Center, this position offers a dynamic surgical environment with exposure to a diverse patient population. The position offers a day shift schedule with two weekend shifts per month and no call requirements. A minimum of two years of surgery experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is required. 2 Years of Surgery experience as an APP required NP or PA graduate from an accredited program Current (or in-process) Michigan licensure National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA) BLS required; ACLS required (or obtained after hire)Credentials:
