Job Description
The Vein Specialist Centers is a fast-growing vein clinic in New Jersey that provides state-of-the-art office-based medical and cosmetic treatments for venous insufficiency, varicose and spider veins. We are looking for highly motivated Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our care team full-time (part-time available). We currently have opportunities in North Jersey. NP/PAs will work collaboratively with our vein doctors to assess, order appropriate diagnostic testing, and co-manage patients with vein disease. NP/PAs are encouraged to train and perform minimally invasive, cosmetic spider vein treatments using sclerotherapy.
What you will do:
Complete comprehensive training under the supervision of our vein doctors and ultrasound technicians to learn all aspects of vein management. Perform new patient evaluations including a thorough history, physical exam, ordering of diagnostic ultrasounds, and recommendation of a preliminary treatment plan See all patients for follow-up appointments after treatments, address patient questions and concerns, and investigate ongoing symptoms Complete accurate charting and documentation of each patient encounter using our health-provider friendly electronic health record system Work with a physician under a collaborative agreement, which provides autonomy to see patients both when physician is in or out of the office Perform minimally invasive, cosmetic spider vein treatments using sclerotherapy.Job Type:
