Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

We are looking for a responsible Physician Assistant to provide care at Facilities including hospital, Nursing homes and Private office. There will be a great opportunity for professional and personal growth. You will be working independently as well as under the supervision of a Cardiologist. Responsibilities Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations. Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follow ups to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients. Performs daily patient rounds. Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests. Interprets laboratory and test results. Confers with attending physicians, other primary care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care. Informs patients of the necessary post-discharge care instructions. Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State Department of Education, required. Current BLS certification, required.
