3007321741-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Trusted Health is seeking a Surgical Specialty professional to deliver high-quality perioperative care across diverse clinical settings. In this role, you'll support complex surgical procedures, coordinate pre-op and post-op care, and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams. You'll leverage Trusted's tech-forward platform to manage assignments, documentation, and communication while practicing in a nurse-centric, mission-driven environment that values flexibility, safety, and continuous learning. Responsibilities Perform and assist with surgical procedures within assigned specialty, adhering to evidence-based practices and safety protocols Conduct pre-operative assessments, review histories, and collaborate on surgical plans with multidisciplinary teams Monitor patients intraoperatively, manage instruments/technology, and respond to changes in patient condition Provide post-operative care, including assessments, pain management, education, and discharge planning Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) and organizational systems Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and allied staff to optimize patient outcomes and workflow Ensure compliance with infection control, regulatory standards, and hospital policies in all surgical areas Participate in quality improvement, case reviews, and data-driven initiatives to enhance surgical services Leverage digital tools and Trusted Health's platform to manage schedules, assignments, and communication Engage in ongoing education and skills development to stay current with surgical techniques and technologies Required Skills Surgical procedures and techniques Perioperative patient assessment Aseptic and sterile technique Intraoperative monitoring and support Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Infection prevention and control Perioperative equipment and instrument management Patient education and discharge planning Clinical decision-making and triage Interdisciplinary team collaboration
