What they do

A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in our fast-paced Urgent Care Centers. The ideal candidate has prior experience in Urgent Care and is able to effectively communicate with patients. We are interested in hiring a candidate who is comfortable making decisions independently and enjoys a collaborative environment. Responsibilities:
Treatment of patients with acute medical needs. Treatment of patients with chronic medical needs. Diagnosis and treatment of minor wounds and injuries. Diagnosis and treatment of non-life-threatening diseases. Maintain appropriate medical records and keep patients informed of their progress. Communicate with other members of a health care team about patient care. Work as part of a healthcare team for the best possible outcome for all patients. Use a variety of tools to diagnose and treat patients.
