Job Description

Pennsylvania Pain & Spine Institute is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our established, physician-led pain management practice at our Chalfont and Quakertown, PA locations. We provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for a broad range of musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions using evidence-based and advanced interventional approaches. This is a clinic-based outpatient position offering a high degree of autonomy within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday No Friday work days (guaranteed 3 day weekends) 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM No in-person: nights, weekends, or hospital call Position Overview The Physician Assistant will play an integral role in managing patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. The position involves independent clinic work with physician support, including evaluation, treatment planning, and follow-up care, as well as procedural and medication management. Key Responsibilities Provide direct clinical care for patients with pain-related conditions Obtain detailed patient histories and perform focused physical examinations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician Coordinate initial and ongoing care for chronic pain patients Prescribe and manage medications in compliance with state and federal regulations Perform in-office procedures (with the appropriate training) , including: Trigger point injections Joint injections Coordinate referrals to physical therapy and other ancillary services Ensure clear, professional communication with patients, physicians, and clinical staff Efficiently manage patient flow and documentation in a busy outpatient clinic Qualifications Certified Physician Assistant with an active Pennsylvania license Pain management or musculoskeletal experience preferred , but not required for the right candidate Strong clinical judgment and ability Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills Comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient environment Why Join Pennsylvania Pain & Spine Institute Well-established, respected regional pain management practice Physician-led Opportunity to practice at the top of your license Predictable weekday schedule Competitive compensation based on experience, with opportunity for growth
