A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, knowledgable licensed nurse practitioner for PRN work.

Position Overview:

We are Monday through Friday 8 to 5 family practice. Must be comfortable seeing all age groups of patients as a solo provider, proficient in family procedures such as but not limited to, I&D, foreign body removal, Physicals, Pap smears, etc. Willing to learn new procedures and services.

Duties:

Conducting examinations of the body. Managing overall patient care. Educating patients on preventative care and disease management.

Physicians Assistant Requirements:

Clinical training in family medicine. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Computer literate.

License/Certification:

Certified Physicians Assistant (Required)
