May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistance In our Family Medicine and Skin Care Center clinic we have a friendly, cordial environment and we seek the best welfare for our patients. Teamwork is one of our priorities, all in search of the best care for our patients. Providing primary care to patients Proficient in English and Spanish Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations Setting up and monitoring medical equipment Ordering and administering diagnostic tests Communicating test results to patients and their families Recording patient medical histories Written and verbal communication skills Listening skills, Organization skills Summary As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive patient care and monitoring health outcomes. Reporting to the supervising physician, you will utilize core skills such as patient assessment, IV insertion, and catheterization to provide high-quality healthcare. Proficiency in EHR systems and effective communication in both English and Spanish will further support your role in fostering strong patient relationships and ensuring optimal health management within the community.
