Job Description
Are you an emergency medicine physician who thrives in the overnight setting? TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated nocturnist EM physician to join our team at San Ramon Regional Medical Center , a well-established, 128-bed, Level II Trauma Center located in the desirable East Bay community of San Ramon, California. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality emergency medicine in a collaborative environment while enjoying a predictable overnight schedule and competitive compensation. Position Highlights Dedicated overnight schedule (8pm
- 6am) 90 to 120 hours per month 16-bed emergency department Approximately 22,000 annual ED visits Medium
- to high-acuity patient population Level II Trauma Center Cerner EMR 17% admission rate Strong specialty backup, including: cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, pediatrics, psychiatry, gastroenterology, vascular surgery, and more Floor codes required Credentialing typically completed in approximately 90 days Compensation and Benefits Independent Contractor (1099) status, must have S-Corp in CA Competitive compensation with an estimated salary range of $180•$210 hourly with the opportunity to earn incentives Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) preferred Active California medical license, or ability to obtain prior to start Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications Demonstrated recent EM practice meeting hospital privileging requirements Interested in learning more?
