Veterinary Orthopedic Specialists are seeking a fifth surgeon to join our team. We are an independently owned, orthopedic-only practice in the south Denver area. We strive to provide the highest-quality medical care, compassionate treatment for pets and clients, and a supportive environment for our entire staff. We have earned a respected standing in the community, with exception client satisfaction and strong relationships with local veterinarians. The ideal candidate will have experience beyond residency and a strong interest in orthopedic surgery. Our current surgeons offer mentorship in advanced orthopedic techniques, joint replacement, and the clinical use of 3D modeling. Our caseload include 150-200 total hip replacements a year as well as regular treatment of limb deformities and complicated fractures. The Denver area offers extensive outdoor recreation, fantastic weather, and a vibrant cultural and sports scene. Our south Denver location provides convenient access to the mountains, the city, and a strong referral community, while giving candidates the flexibility to live in rural settings, suburban communities, or downtown Denver with reasonable commutes. Facility 8,500-square-foot orthopedic-only specialty facility in the south Denver area Large, comfortable operating rooms designed for efficient orthopedic surgery Fluoroscopy and a new 80-slice CT scanner on site Extensive arthroscopy equipment for advanced minimally invasive procedures Modern Resin and FDM 3D printers supporting patient-specific planning and guides Experienced, efficient technical team familiar with advanced orthopedic procedures Position Four-day work week with no overnight or weekend call Opportunity to perform advanced orthopedic procedures, including total hip replacement, arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, and corrective osteotomies Collaborative environment with experienced orthopedic surgeons and mentorship in advanced techniques Established, solid surgical caseload, including approximately 150 total hip replacements performed each year Strong referral base from Colorado and neighboring states Base salary of $200,000 with 25% production ProSal No negative accrual Benefits include dental/health/vision, IRA plan, professional due/malpractice/CE Job Requirements:
