Malpractice coverage provided for the Physician Assistant Supportive onboarding process for Advanced Practice Providers. Ideally seeking availability for 3-4 days/week.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a Physician Assistant you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families, including but not limited to: As a Physician Assistant ( PA ) you will be conducting thorough physical exams and obtaining complete medical histories Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests Physician Assistant ( PA )Administering treatments, medications, suturing minor lacerations, and more PA educating patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care Timely documentation (charts completed within 48 hours, lab results communicated within 24 hours if abnormal) Responding to medication refill requests within 72 hours Managing patient messages and inbox daily Seeing an average of 10-18 patients per day
Optional Opportunities:
Aesthetic training, Peptides, Weight loss therapy, Biote hormone therapy and more Assist with procedures and contribute to the overall success of the practice We're looking for a Physician Assistant or who is passionate about patient care, eager to grow professionally, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of outpatient primary care experience as a Physician Assistant ( PA ) Proficiency in procedures: suturing, Pap smears, skin biopsies, I&D, administering IV fluids, reading EKGs and Spirometry Active Colorado State Nurse Practitioner license National certification as a Physician Assistant ( PA ) Current prescriptive authority with no claims against your license as a Physician Assistant ( PA ) BLS certification required (all licenses must be current)
Schedule & Work Environment:
