THE PROGRAM
Adult Outpatient The Adult Outpatient services provide psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Services include assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, family treatment and medication evaluation and monitoring.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Management and Services Provide direct clinical services to clients, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, ongoing treatment and medication reviews. Maintain positive working relationships with community health organizations and outside medical and psych services to ensure coordination of client care Participates in case conferences/consultations, as required. Works with program supervisors to oversee client treatment plans. Demonstrates competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served. Additional Duties and Responsibilities Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards. Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned. Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
M.D. Board certified or eligible in adult or child psychiatry.
Experience:
Experience in adult or child psychiatry. Community mental health experience preferred .
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
CT license; Board Certified preferred, eligible required. Board Certified or eligible in child psychiatry for practice with children. Why Join CHR?
