Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team in Port Richey, FL. This opportunity is open to both experienced physicians and new graduates eager to grow in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Value-Based Care or Managed Care, but we encourage all applicants, including new graduates, to apply.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic conditions, focusing on preventive care and wellness. Conduct thorough physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to develop treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, coordinated patient care. Educate patients and families on health maintenance, treatment options, and lifestyle changes. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and comply with healthcare regulations. Stay current on medical advancements to ensure the best possible care for patients.
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical institution. Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, but not required for new grads. Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain). Experience with Value-Based Care or Managed Care is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
