Our client is preparing to open a new adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit in St. Augustine, Florida, and is seeking an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to support the launch and early growth of the program. This new adolescent-only inpatient program is scheduled to open at the end of October and will begin with a gradual census ramp, expected to reach approximately 8 patients by year-end. The position offers flexibility for either part-time morning coverage or a full-time schedule, depending on physician preference and program needs. Position Highlights

  • Part-time compensation prorated based on schedule Job Responsibilities Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment for adolescent inpatients Develop and manage psychiatric medication plans Participate in individualized treatment planning Support admissions, discharges, and clinical documentation Collaborate with nursing, therapy, case management, and facility leadership Provide clinical guidance regarding adolescent psychiatric care Monitor patient progress and support discharge planning Maintain clinical quality, patient safety, documentation, and regulatory standards Contribute to the successful launch and early development of the program AI Translation Assistant Opens in new window
