WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Family or Internal Medicine physician to join our busy and growing multi-specialty group at Franciscan Physician Network Chesterton & Emergency Center located in Chesterton, Indiana. The ideal candidate will enjoy providing comprehensive care for adults challenged with chronic disease/comorbidities.

WHAT WE NEED

Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Flexible full-time schedule

Family Medicine Weekday & Weekend Call:

1:13, Internal Medicine 1:4 Holiday Call

  • rotated and included in call week Average outpatient volume: 18-20 patients per day
Common Diagnoses:

COPD Diabetes Heart Failure Hypertension Physicals, Medicare Wellness Visits

Qualifications:

Doctorate

  • Required Physician License (MD/DO)
  • Upon Hire Required Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate)
  • Upon Hire Required Basic Life Support Program (BLS)
  • American Heart Association
