Job Description

Animal Outpatient Specialty Network (AOSN) seeks a Veterinary Dermatologist to lead advanced skin, allergy, and ear care within our growing specialty network. In this diplomate-level role, you will manage referral-based cases, perform dermatologic diagnostics and procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in modern outpatient facilities. You'll shape service offerings, mentor clinical staff, and contribute to protocol development while practicing in a medically driven, patient-centered, and learning-focused culture with strong professional growth opportunities. Responsibilities Provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care for dermatologic, allergy, and ear disease cases in small animals Interpret cytology, biopsies, and diagnostic tests to develop evidence-based treatment plans Collaborate with other veterinary specialists and referring veterinarians on complex, multi-system cases Communicate clearly with clients about diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term management plans Contribute to protocol development, quality improvement, and expansion of dermatology services across the network Mentor veterinarians, technicians, and support staff in dermatology best practices and case management Maintain accurate, thorough medical records and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards Required Skills Veterinary dermatology Small animal internal medicine Allergy testing and management Dermatologic surgery Cytology and biopsy interpretation Dermatopathology collaboration Anesthesia and sedation protocols Medical record documentation Client communication and education Interdisciplinary case collaboration
