Inpatient Adult Psychiatry | Weekends Per Diem | Luminis Health | Lanham, MD

Luminis Health is currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join our per diem coverage team at our 16-bed inpatient behavioral health units located in Lanham and Annapolis, Maryland. This position involves caring for both voluntary and involuntary adult admissions, working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Position Highlights:

Ideal two weekends per month - Saturday and Sunday 8a-5p May pick up additional coverage shifts during the week Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and patient education Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary care teams and referring physicians Opportunity to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and care model development Follows policies and procedures consistent with Maryland state regulations and medical best practices

Requirements:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of a psychiatry residency program Active Maryland medical license (or eligibility), DEA, and CDS certifications Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills Why Luminis Health?
