Job Description
Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. What You Can Expect:
- A broad reconstructive practice which includes both implant-based and autologous breast reconstruction, post-weight-loss soft tissue removal, head-to-toe reconstruction of soft tissue defects in coordination with our surgical oncology team, post-Mohs reconstruction of facial defects, breast reductions, functional blepharoplasties, transgender top surgery, and other miscellaneous reconstructive cases• Work in a collaborative environment with a group of 7 other full-time plastic surgeons• Call coverage for our patients which is split evenly among all plastic surgeons, and does NOT involve coverage of hand call• This position is listed as a 1.
- Microvascular fellowship is preferred but not required; should have comfort and willingness to perform microsurgical cases, primarily in context of breast reconstruction (DIEP flaps), as part of two-surgeon team
Minimum Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible in Plastic Surgery
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
