Pediatric opening in Michigan- St. Joesph, Mi- Full timeA Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist is sought for a full-time opportunity in St. Joseph, Michigan . This position is ideal for physicians who are patient-centered, collaborative, and interested in joining a high-performing inpatient pediatrics team. Practice Overview The Pediatric Hospitalist team consists of three physicians and two advanced practice providers and delivers comprehensive care for inpatient pediatrics and the newborn nursery . The practice supports a collegial environment with manageable patient volumes and strong interdisciplinary collaboration. Primary Responsibilities Admit and round on pediatric inpatients daily Average daily census: 2-4 pediatric patients 8-10 newborns Manage newborns in a Level I nursery , with established relationships with nearby NICU facilities Attend high-risk deliveries Perform procedures including: Circumcision Intubation Lumbar puncture Provide consultation services in the Emergency Department Practice Environment The hospital is a community-based facility recognized for excellence in perinatal care, including national certification for perinatal services.
