Position Summary American Medical Administrators, Inc., is seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Physician to join our growing healthcare team in Marshall, Missouri to provide high-quality, timely care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department with a broad range of medical conditions and injuries. Perform comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and medical assessments. Diagnose acute and complex medical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other diagnostic studies. Perform emergency procedures and interventions within the physician's scope of practice. Provide stabilization and management of critically ill or injured patients. Recognize and respond rapidly to life-threatening conditions and medical emergencies. Consult with specialists and coordinate admissions, transfers, and appropriate follow-up care. Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, nurses, and other clinical staff as appropriate. Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up recommendations. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and departmental initiatives. Maintain current knowledge of emergency medicine standards, treatments, and best practices. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred. Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice. Current DEA registration. BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements. Emergency Medicine experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Pay:
$300,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
