Position Summary American Medical Administrators, Inc., is seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing healthcare team in Marshall, Missouri to provide high-quality, timely care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. Marshall is centrally located between Columbia and Kansas City, making it the sports lover's dream location. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations. Evaluate and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Diagnose conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other studies. Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate treatments. Perform procedures within the NP's scope of practice and clinical competency. Recognize and respond appropriately to patients requiring immediate or emergent intervention. Stabilize patients and coordinate consultations, admissions, transfers, or discharges as appropriate. Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment, medications, and follow-up care. Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and other members of the care team. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. National board certification as an NP. Current BLS and ACLS certification; additional emergency certifications preferred. Emergency medicine or acute care experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Pay:
$125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per week
