Staff Physiatrist OpportunityBaptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital | Madison, Mississippi Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Madison, Mississippi. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on restoring function and improving quality of life for patients recovering from complex injuries and illnesses. Opportunity Highlights Inpatient rehabilitation-focused practice Collaborative multidisciplinary team including therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and physician colleagues State-of-the-art rehabilitation facility Opportunity to participate in program growth and quality initiatives About Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital is a 40 bed state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping patients recover from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, trauma, orthopedic conditions, and other medically complex diagnoses. The hospital combines advanced rehabilitation technologies with a highly experienced clinical team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Physician Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient PM&R care Lead and oversee individualized rehabilitation treatment plans Coordinate patient care with therapists, nurses, case managers, and consulting physicians Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning Ensure quality clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction Complete timely and accurate medical documentation Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Eligible for Mississippi medical licensure Current DEA registration or ability to obtain Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to excellence in inpatient rehabilitation medicine Madison, Mississippi Located just minutes from Jackson, Madison is consistently recognized as one of Mississippi's premier communities.
