The physician will provide independent and collaborative comprehensive and therapeutic healthcare services, integrating the art and science of medicine into daily practice. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, leading clinical workflows, and collaborating seamlessly with advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary staff in a strictly traditional primary care setting. Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Care & Diagnostics

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat episodic illnesses, work-related illnesses, and injuries.
• Provide emergency medical care, triage, and appropriate specialty referrals as needed.
• Follow up post-operatively with both in- and outpatients to ensure proper recovery and continuity of care.
• Maintain advanced skills and stay current with ongoing trends in medical equipment, materials, and therapeutic treatment devices. Patient Education & Coordination
• Instruct patients and families regarding prescribed medications, treatment plans, and ongoing care strategies.
• Provide comprehensive patient education and recommend relevant community resources to meet patient and family needs.
• Provide clear oral and written communication with referring physicians, pharmacists, and home healthcare agencies.
• Arrange and coordinate necessary follow-up visits, diagnostic testing, and procedures as required. Leadership & Operational Support
• Support the medical site's Nurse Practitioner(s) in the role of collaborative physician, as outlined in the Collaborative Physician-Nurse Practitioner Agreement, particularly when the primary collaborative physician is unavailable.
• Oversee daily patient workflows, supervise the clinical activities of site staff, and provide direct clinical backup to NPs and PAs as needed.
• Supervise the overall clinical activity of the site's staff in the absence of the Site Physician Manager.
• Act as a dedicated liaison with local HR and management to solve operational or administrative issues that may interfere with patient care.
• Participate as an active member of Center/Division communities focused on health-related initiatives and priorities.
• Fulfill other operational or clinical duties as assigned by the Clinical Director. Qualifications

Education & Certification:

Board eligible or board certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.

Licensure:

Active, current, and unencumbered license to practice medicine (MD or DO) in the state of New Hampshire.

Prescriptive Authority:

Current DEA certification and eligibility.

Life Support:

Current

CPR / AED

certification or eligibility.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a traditional primary care, college health, public health, or clinic setting.

Skills:

• Ability to independently motivate and work efficiently in both an autonomous and team-based environment.
• Strong leadership capabilities to guide clinical staff and oversee patient workflows.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information with absolute discretion.
